New to Acupuncture?

What is acupuncture?

With its origins tracing back over 2,000 years to ancient China, acupuncture remains a trusted practice to this day. The treatment involves the precise insertion of ultra-fine, sterile, single-use needles into specific points of the body. Not only does it help alleviate various symptoms, but it also addresses the underlying imbalances that contribute to these conditions.

What is acupuncture?

Acupuncture is renowned for its versatility in treating a wide range of conditions. From pain conditions, migraines, and arthritis to stress, anxiety, and digestive issues and many more – The World Health Organization (WHO) also recognizes acupuncture as an effective treatment for various conditions.

Is acupuncture safe?

In a national level safety review published by the British Medical Journal (BMJ), acupuncture is to be considered as very safe and several other reviews support these findings. In addition, the level of training is important and also if a practitioner is part of a governing body and an accredited register.
